Under the Administrative by-law on Policies for Enhancement of Cultural Activities of the Universities in all Provinces No.: 4573/8, approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the University of Isfahan was recognized as the Mother University and the Head of the Coordination Council of Cultural Activities of the Universities of the Province. After the Secretariat of the Council was established, The Vice Chancellor for Social and Cultural Affairs attempted to select the members, write the invitation letter, take the minutes of the meetings, contact the members, submit announcements, develop the Five-Year Strategic Document, from September to September, in order to coordinate cooperation among all the universities of the Province in organizing and undertaking cultural activities and share experiences in that matter. It should be noted that the meetings are held every month with Dr. Shanazari ,the Vice Chancellor for Social and Cultural Affairs of the University of Isfahan in the chair, and including Vice Chancellors for Cultural Affairs from all the state universities, Universities of Medical Sciences, Universities of Technology, Universities of Arts, Payame Noor Universities, Islamic Azad Universities, Universities of Applied Science and Technology, Private Universities, Basij, the Office of Supreme Leadership Institution, etc
