The Secretariat is in charge of facilitating planning, supervising activities performed and yet to be performed by the Islamic Institutions at the University. The Secretariat will hold meetings monthly. The University Chancellor is in the chair and the Vice Chancellor for Social and Cultural Affairs of the University functions as the secretary. The Vice Minister of Science, Research and Technology and the Head of the Office of Supreme Leadership Institution at the University are among other members. All the Institutions are obliged to act in accordance with the announced legislations. All decision making and the minutes of the meetings are confidential, and if necessary, the members of the Specialized Council of Social and Cultural Affairs will be informed of the proceedings for later decision making.
