Vice-Deans of Social and Cultural Affairs in the Faculties

The Vice-Deans for Social and Cultural Affairs were established at all faculties of the University in 2009. It aims to direct, organize, and pave the way for the educational and cultural activities of the students, and encourages the students to be creative and scientifically active and vigorous. Each branch of Vice Chancellor for Social and Cultural Affairs at each faculty is comprised of the faculty's Vice Chancellor for Cultural Affairs, who is selected from one of the faculty members, and a cultural expert. Therefore, all the students especially the newly arrived students are welcomed to take part in all the activities of each branch of the Vice Dean for Social and Cultural Affairs at each faculty and express their new ideas and capabilities. The major activities are as follows:

To plan, direct, supervise, and pave the way for the active participation of the students in the socio-political arenas;
To imbue the students with a spiritual vigor and the Islamic ethics;
To promote cooperation among other Vice-Chancellors of the University in order to hold student elections, hold ceremonies, conferences, competitions, workshops, and feasts;
To welcome the newly arrived students and distribute cultural packages among them along with the University of Isfahan Guide Book;
To hold orientation sessions with the faculty members;
To enable the students in the area of research through the Students Scientific Associations and students research centers;
To deliver the reference letters of MA/MSc and PhD students' quotas on printing paper and monthly audit the amounts consumed;
To create an appropriate atmosphere for the faculties on different occasions (installing posters, etc.).
