Admission Procedure

Every year, the University of Isfahan welcomes applications from talented students around the world. As admission is competitive, applicants are encouraged to prepare their documents carefully and submit complete applications within the announced admission period.

Step 1 – Explore Your Academic Opportunities

Before submitting your application, we encourage you to explore the University of Isfahan's English website to identify the academic program that best matches your educational background, research interests, and career goals.

To learn more about the University, please visit:

  • Program Highlights to explore the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs offered at the University of Isfahan.
  • Faculty Directory tab (at the top of the website) to discover faculty members and explore their research interests and areas of expertise.
  • Faculty members' Google Scholar profiles to review their recent publications, citations, and ongoing research activities.
  • Faculties section (in the middle of the homepage) to become familiar with the University's faculties, schools, institutes, and academic departments.
  • Research & Investment Opportunities tab (at the top of the website) to explore the University's priority research themes, Innovation Zone, startup ecosystem, industry partnerships, and opportunities for collaborative research and investment.

Taking the time to explore these resources will help you choose the most suitable academic program and prepare a stronger application.

Step 2 – Prepare the Required Documents

Please prepare electronic copies of the following documents.

Important: All documents must be issued in English or accompanied by an official certified English translation.

Required documents include:

  • Degree certificate(s)
  • Official academic transcript(s)
  • Valid passport
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) for Master's and PhD applicants
  • Research portfolio for graduate applicants (e.g., publications, conference papers, research projects, patents, awards, and other scholarly achievements)
  • Registration in the SAORG (Saurg) system and submission of your SAORG Code, where applicable according to the regulations of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology

Step 3 – Submit Your Online Application

During the official admission period, register through the Apply Now online application system and upload all required documents.

Please note that the application portal is available only during the University's official admission periods.

Step 4 – Academic Evaluation

After submission, your application will be reviewed by the relevant academic department.

If your academic qualifications meet the department's selection criteria, you may be invited to an online interview with faculty members.

Step 5 – Receive Your Admission Decision

Successful applicants will receive an official admission offer from the University of Isfahan together with information about the next steps, including enrollment procedures and student registration.
